Oily...

Bush Rejects Tax on Oil Companies' Profitshttp://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/042806R.shtmlPresident Bush on Friday rejected calls by some lawmakers for a tax on oil company windfall profits, saying the industry should reinvest its recent gains into finding and producing more energy. He also said: "These oil prices are a wake-up call. We're dependent on oil. We needto get off oil."

Oh man, AGAIN!!!!

World Without Cancer author G. Edward Griffin exposes how corruptpolitics prevent real cancer cures from reaching the public

Thirty-one years ago, a man wrote a book exposing the politicsinvolved in cancer therapy. It painted a picture of a world in whichan effective control for cancer existed but was outlawed because itcouldn't line the pockets of the powerful pharmaceutical industry. In31 years, little has changed.G. Edward Griffin's 1974 book World Without Cancer is as poignanttoday as the day it was written, and in some circles, just ascontroversial. That's because Griffin tells the story of a powerfulsubstance that, despite its potential to aid in the fight againstcancer, few cancer sufferers will ever know about, and that theirdoctors certainly will not offer them. That substance is vitamin B-17,also called Laetrile, and it is a naturally-occurring substance thathas been banned for use in the control of cancer in the United States.Griffin was first introduced to the subject of vitamin therapy forcancer control while on a fishing trip with San Francisco physicianJohn Richardson, he said in a telephone interview. Dr. Richardson toldGriffin he had seen great success in treating his cancer patients withvitamin B-17, but he faced opposition from local medical authoritieswho, when they caught wind of what he was doing, balked at the fact hewas using a treatment that was not FDA-approved. In an effort toprotect his right to administer a therapy he had seen work on so manypatients, Dr. Richardson turned to Griffin for help in advancing hiscause, and thus was the beginning of World Without Cancer.Griffin, who knew nothing of the science of cancer when he began hisproject, soon learned plenty. His research led him to the conclusionthat naturally-occurring Laetrile is indeed an effective treatment forcancer. In fact, from the time he started his research to today,Griffin says he has seen literally thousands of people benefit fromtreatment with Laetrile. He also learned that cancer is a diseaselinked directly to a deficiency of vitamin B-17, which is found inhigh amounts in apricot kernels. However, perhaps the most importantand most troubling thing he learned was that Laetrile and its healthpotential were being kept out of doctors' hands for political – notscientific – reasons.According to Griffin, the 1953 California Report continues to be thebasis of most scientific or legal opposition to vitamin B-17 today. The report, written by Dr. Henry Garland and Dr. E. M. McDonald of theCalifornia Medical Association's Cancer Advisory Commission, claimsthere is no proof Laetrile is an effective control for cancer. (Itshould be noted that these two particular doctors were at the timealso insisting there was no link between smoking and lung cancer.)However, Griffin writes in World Without Cancer that Garland andMcDonald actually falsified information from Laetrile experimentscited in the California Report. In fact, 10 years after the report waspublished, original documents surfaced that proved information hadbeen falsified. Although the report was subsequently updated, additional problems – such as insufficient vitamin dosages used in theexperiments – persisted, and the conclusions of the originalCalifornia Report remained embedded in the literature and minds of many.Additional studies conducted by well-known groups like theSloane-Kettering Institute have proven the effectiveness of Laetrile, according to Griffin. However, those study results have not beenpublicized."When you dig into the facts, and you read the reports by the peoplethemselves inside those institutions, you find out they found in theirtesting that Laetrile was highly effective, but they receiveddirectives from the top to suppress that information," Griffin said.So why would the "powers-that-be" work so hard to suppress informationthat could benefit thousands of people dying of cancer? "They do thatbecause they're trying to make a buck, and something that is found innature, like Laetrile, cannot be patented," says Griffin. But thestory doesn't stop there. The Hitler / Pharma connectionWorld Without Cancer is divided into two parts, and in the second halfof the book, Griffin goes on to reveal some disturbing informationabout an international drug cartel that came into being in the yearsbefore World War II that he says played a significant role in shapingthe field of medicine in this country. This powerful cartel wascreated, Griffin argues, when I.G. Farben, a German-based chemicalcompany and financial backer of Adolf Hitler, joined together withStandard Oil of New Jersey, founded by American business tycoon JohnD. Rockefeller, in an agreement not to compete. The partnership waslargely concealed, since neither company wanted their countries toknow about the relationship in the event of an inevitable second worldwar. In a lecture, Griffin once referred to the Farben-Rockefellermerger as "the largest and most powerful cartel the world has everknown, even though most people have never heard about it."And so the extremely influential Rockefeller came to be interlockedwith the drug industry, and under the guise of philanthropy, begandonating large sums of money to America's faltering medical schools.Of course, the catch was that such schools were told the money had tobe used for drug research, which would create a great profit forRockefeller interests. In their time of need, medical schools readilycomplied. "When they accepted the money, they had to follow thedollar, and they designed their curricula so it favors pharmacy (and)pharmaceutical drugs," says Griffin. This effectively gave birth to the conventional medical care system weknow today, which is based almost entirely on prescription drugs andknows little to nothing about basic nutrition (see related ebook onnutrition). "The medical schools of the United States now teach thestudents everything there is to know about their product, which isdrugs," Griffin says, "And so [doctors] come out as highly traineddrug salesmen, and they don't even know it!"Even doctors are kept in the dark about B-17It's no wonder then that natural treatments like vitamin B-17 remainbanned or widely unknown in the United States; there is a long line ofprofit and power ensuring they stay that way. That's why doctors willnot offer cancer patients vitamin therapy with vitamin B-17, and whymost doctors, if asked about Laetrile, will say it has been provenineffective. However, Griffin doesn't blame the doctors forconventional modern medicine's focus on drugs, noting, "They're kindof victims of this whole system as much as the rest of us, and theyand their families die of cancer just like everyone else. So it'sclear that they're not holding back a control for cancer that theyknow works. If they knew about it, they would use it, just like Dr.Richardson. It's just that they're pretty well sheltered from thatinformation, and they rely very strongly on the prestigious sources atthe top."Since Griffin's book hit shelves in 1974, awareness of natural healthhas increased, but little has changed in terms of the availability ofLaetrile in the United States. It remains illegal for doctors toprescribe or sell Laetrile as a control for cancer. According toGriffin, however, some clinics continue to quietly use the substance, often only after the patient has obtained it. Many other patientstravel to Mexico for treatment.Griffin worries that vitamin B-17 is not the only natural treatmentfor serious disease being suppressed because of political andfinancial reasons. "I'm convinced, and this is just my opinion now; Ican't back this up with facts, but on the basis of what I've seen, Ithink this whole AIDS field is just a rubber stamp of the cancerfield," Griffin states. He adds, "I am sure that you'll find thisthing all over the medical field because they follow the buck. Theyhave to have something that's patented to do that, and patentedmedicines are usually toxic."Today, Griffin says writing World Without Cancer dramatically changedhis views and may have saved his life. "It is like night into day," hesays. "I am firmly convinced that had I not done this research andlearned what I did, I probably would have been dead today because Iwas living the lifestyle of the typical American – fast foods, noexercise (and) no awareness of the fact that I had any responsibilityfor my health."The politics of cancer therapyOn the first page of his book, Griffin openly acknowledges that whathe writes is not approved by the Food and Drug Administration,American Medical Association or the American Cancer Society and saysthat they in fact would call it "fraud and quackery." That is because,as Griffin has often said, the politics of cancer therapy are far morecomplicated than the science of cancer therapy. This core problem, according to Griffin, cannot be solved until we getthe politics out of a lot of other areas as well. In the meantime, itis up to each individual consumer to take responsibility for his orher own health and wellbeing. "I think it's important for people tounderstand that government, in most cases, is not the solution; it'sthe problem," Griffin warns. "As long as people think that thegovernment is supposed to take care of them and protect them and thatthey can trust their politicians – as long as they think that, they'rein deep trouble. And, in fact, we are all in deep trouble because ofthat kind of thinking."A second, updated edition of World Without Cancer was released in 1997and can be purchased at Griffin's website, http://www.realityzone.com.You can also visit the Cancer Cure Foundation, an organization Griffinis a part of that promotes new information on the prevention andcontrol of cancer, at http://www.cancure.org.

I AM BACK with a vengance and such....

Yes, for all you idiots thinking that drinking your diet soda is actually doing you good... but no, it's bad, just like I've been saying...

Adverse reactions and side effects of aspartame include:

Eye blindness in one or both eyes decreased vision and/or other eye problems such as: blurring, bright flashes, squiggly lines, tunnel vision, decreased night vision pain in one or both eyes decreased tears trouble with contact lenses bulging eyes
Ear tinnitus - ringing or buzzing sound severe intolerance of noise marked hearing impairment Neurologic epileptic seizures headaches, migraines and some severe dizziness, unsteadiness, both confusion, memory loss, both severe drowsiness and sleepiness paresthesia or numbness of the limbs severe slurring of speech severe hyperactivity and restless legs atypical facial pain severe tremors
Psychological/Psychiatric severe depression irritability aggression anxiety personality changes insomnia phobias
Chest palpitations, tachycardia shortness of breath recent high blood pressure
Gastrointestinal nausea diarrhea, sometimes with blood in stools abdominal pain pain when swallowing
Skin and Allergies itching without a rash lip and mouth reactions hives aggravated respiratory allergies such as asthma
Endocrine and Metabolic loss of control of diabetes menstrual changes marked thinning or loss of hair marked weight loss gradual weight gain aggravated low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) severe PMS Other frequency of voiding and burning during urination excessive thirst, fluid retention, leg swelling, and bloating increased susceptibility to infection
Additional Symptoms of Aspartame Toxicity include the most critical symptoms of all death irreversible brain damage birth defects, including mental retardation peptic ulcers aspartame addiction and increased craving for sweets hyperactivity in children severe depression aggressive behavior suicidal tendencies Aspartame may trigger, mimic, or cause the following illnesses: Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Epstein-Barr Post-Polio Syndrome Lyme Disease Grave’s Disease Meniere’s Disease Alzheimer’s Disease ALS Epilepsy Multiple Sclerosis (MS) EMS Hypothyroidism Mercury sensitivity from Amalgam fillings Fibromyalgia Lupus non-Hodgkins Lymphoma Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) These are not allergies or sensitivities, but diseases and disease syndromes. Aspartame poisoning is commonly misdiagnosed because aspartame symptoms mock textbook ‘disease’ symptoms, such as Grave’s Disease. Aspartame changes the ratio of amino acids in the blood, blocking or lowering the levels of serotonin, tyrosine, dopamine, norepinephrine, and adrenaline. Therefore, it is typical that aspartame symptoms cannot be detected in lab tests and on x-rays. Textbook disorders and diseases may actually be a toxic load as a result of aspartame poisoning. Ever gone to the doctor with real, physical symptoms, but he/she can’t find the cause? Well, it’s probably your diet, your environment, or both. Aspartame is the common denominator for over 92 different health symptoms at the root of modern disease. The Aspartame Detoxification Program demonstrates the most effective way to reverse disease symptoms is removing the underlying cause - aspartame.

Oh yeah...

So... here I am after about 6 months. Sorry for the hold up... if anyone even looks at this. Well, one person does apparently. Ok lets see... new job... I'm an aesthetician now at a day spa. That means I give facials and and waxing, and soon I'll be doing body treatments and make-up. Though, I have get up early and stuff now. So I've trained myself to go to sleep earlier which sucked because it's so much easier to stay up late and wake up late for me. Sooo... hopefully this job will give me money to go to school for opera. YAY! My hypoglycemia is significantly better. Been eating a bit healthier, and taking an awesome multivitamin. Getting into yoga again, been bellydancing again, still doing dance, still doing voice lessons (my favourite) started LARP'ing too. I may have mentioned that already since this week was a year since I started. We go to Connecticut for that. It's pretty freaking fun. Just got back from there in fact. It was a good weekend. Not as good as the last event but still good. I have opened up like 2 more journals on top of this since the last post, so, yet more journals of which to keep track. Sigh... I'll be back whenever.

As promised...

I took a long time to update. All kinds of crap going on. Grandmom in the hospital, couldn't hear out of one ear for 4 days, got fired... that kind of stuff. On a good note I went on an interview yesterday and I'm graduating in 2 weeks. I hope I get this job, they already have a good clientelle so I'll be busy to begin with, that can be hard to find. Paul and I are going to Florida next month, I have a singing recital in the end of April, Paul and I are going to Connecticut to go LARP'ing from April 15-17th. That will be sweet. Oh and ICON is coming up, and of course Paul and I are going! I'm going to try and go as Captain Liberty from The Tick. Paul is going to try to be Bat Manuel!!! He was supposed to be gone to Sicily now but they let him stay for me because of my grandmom. So as far as I know he's not going away until May. I'm glad he was allowed to stay, they usually only let people stay for thier wives but we're engaged so I guess thats almost as good. Ok on to the funness....

I found this sweet website on some FDA scandals... http://www.stopcancer.com/FDAscandal4.htm
I'm all about the FDA scandals.

So theres this new thing, well not really new, but I'm just hearing about it, it's called Codex and it will cause our vitamins, herbs and minerals to be regualted by the FDA. Meaning we will need a prescription from a doctor to get vitamins! What kind of shit is that? So much for being a free country, eh? Not that we are now anyway. I think there should be a law that we can't make anymore stupid laws. I can't imagine us needing more laws in general, but thats just me. Well I've also heard something like this can't happen in America but we'll see. I'm just going to be stocking up on my stuff for June (when this is supposed to kick in) if I keep hearing about this.

I think I said something about a cure for Diabetes last time I was on here... Ok here it is...http://herballegacy.com/id66.htm Just follow links to recipes and those are what you need to cure it. From what I read it could take about a year, depending on how bad it is I guess. And from what I read all you really need to do is cleanse the Adrenal glands and Pancreas. You may have to stay on it for a really long time but I would think it's better than buying insulin or whatever drugs they give you. Herbs are cheap for the most part. Theres all kinds of other fun cures on this site too. They reccomend Cayenne for pretty much everything. Cayenne is a cure-all. VERY good for the heart, and is a blood clotter. Cayenne can even stop a heart attack. Mix some cayenne, I guess about a tablespoon (it says on the site) with warm water, and have them drink. No need to worry about the effects on the stomach, cayenne heals/cures ulcers!

A couple things...

I worked early today (8 am - very early for me), and I'm not a morning person. We have some other manager in for the week, yes only a week, for a reason unknown to me considering Lauren and I know pretty much everything there is to know about the freaking store but Francesco ( higher up in company who is a sexist older miserable italian man) felt the need to bring a manager in. So I was told I'd be doing the DVD / video part of the shipment while Heather (real manager) is on maternity leave. So I come in this morning to this manager taking up the whole damn counter with magazines! We usually do those last. I realize he doens't know how we do things, but that might be a clue to.. oh I don't know.... ASK!!!!!! I had to wait for him to finish doing the damn mag's before I could start doing my part. Well between my not being a morning person and PMS'ing I was a bit pissed. I managed to keep my brain to mouth filter running though... barely. Heather came in to see how things were and help new dude with banking, and she let me out early. So I was out my 10 and went home and took a 3 hour nap woth Paul. YAY!

Ok on to new things. Cory and mutual friend of Paul and me, needs to lose weight for the Navy or he'll be kicked out. So he was telling Paul about that and Paul told him to ask me since I'm the alternative medicine queen... at least among all of us, I'm not a master herbalist... yet. So Paul told me he'd ask and I put a list together for him. All natural supplements (not diet pills) for him to take to boost his metabolism, clear a few things up internally to help everything. So he started a week and a half ago, and he's lost about 8 or 9 pounds. He started on February 1st I believe and he's already lost almost 10 pounds... that is if he didn't already. I haven't talked to him in a few days. I lost 17 pounds in June of last year, that was with only one of the things I gave to him to take. It was origionally to help my hypoglycemia and I ended up losing 17 pounds. It happened within the span of like 2 months, but I did pretty much nothing different. People don't realize how freaking easy it is lose weight. People are just lazy. I take dance also, but all that really did was keep me a bit toned. I weighed 140 before. Even while dancing. Believe it or not people.... exercise is GOOD for you. Paul wants to start the thing I have Cory on (Paul's gotten a bit of a belly in the past year) and said something about starting to exercise but I'll believe that when I see it. Oh well. I guess the point of this is, people complain about being fatbut do nothing about it. If I hear one more person complain about being fat but don't take my advice, I swear I'll freak out!

Speaking of supplements, I started taking something that will make my hypoglycemia go away. The guy who works at the health food store at which I get all my supplements, cured himself of borderline Tupe II diabetes, and high cholesterol with supplements. I'm taking what he took for the blood sugar issues. Can't wait to see the results!

Bleh...

I'm tired and i don't feel well, but I'm supposed to be going out with the friends later on. I'd be leaving in like 45 minutes. Or I will be. I think it's just PMS making me feel crappy. Speaking of PMS, I might be trying this herbal combination to get rid of candida yeast that grows in the body. I think it mainly grows in the intestines. If you have ever taken any type of pennicillin or are on birth control pill (me) chances are you have candida yeast overgrowth. Apparently this overgrowth can lead to bad PMS, "brain fog", stomach problems, acne, and a bunch of other things. So I'm goiing to try it. I takes a couple weeks to start noticing a difference, but I hear it's well worth it. My PMS needs to be curbed a bit. My complexion has been less than amazing as of late also.

Good news for me, Paul will be going off nights in a couple months!!!!!! A couple months is still a little long but it's better than what we thought it was going to be (a year). This is great because I couldn't plan the wedding on my own. We only have Sundays to do everything together. I don't think we can rely only on Sundays to do everything we need to do together before the wedding. The new guy in command (he's in the Navy) is to thank for this. I like him already. Alright, time to go.

Oops....

Yes, it's been a while... oops. Oh well. Some updates... first and foremost, Paul and I got engaged!!!!! Yes I plan to start writing in here again for the FEW people who have come to this, I have a couple more cures for cancer (!) along with a cure for Diabetes (which I am on at the moment for my hypoglycemia), I'm about to graduate school for Esthetics (skin care), I saw Tears for Fears (!!!), and I'm still singing. SO this is just a minor update, I'll be back with more tomorrow night probably.
